Ascribe Healing Hub is a trauma healing ministry. The content, resources, healing groups, curriculum, and facilitation offered through this site are rooted in Scripture, informed by neuroscience, and shaped by lived experience.
This is not therapy. Joy Roman is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, or medical professional. Nothing on this site — including healing groups, curriculum, written content, or personal correspondence — constitutes clinical mental health treatment or medical advice. If you are in crisis or require clinical care, please seek a licensed professional.
If you are in immediate danger, please contact emergency services (911 in the US) or a crisis line such as the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988).
Healing groups facilitated by Joy Roman or trained Ascribe facilitators are free to attend. Participation is voluntary. No outcomes — including healing, recovery, or resolution — are guaranteed. Results vary by individual, and the healing journey is personal and non-linear.
Participants are expected to respect the confidentiality of other group members. What is shared in a healing group stays within the group.
Facilitator certification training is available at a fee of $150 per level. Fees are non-refundable once training has begun. Training is grounded in the Trauma Healing Institute (THI) framework and requires completion of the core healing curriculum as a participant before facilitator training begins.
Submitting a booking inquiry does not constitute a confirmed engagement. All bookings are confirmed in writing by Joy Roman or an authorized representative of Ascribe Healing Hub. Specific terms, fees, and cancellation policies will be outlined in a separate agreement for each engagement.
All content on this site — including written copy, curriculum frameworks, coined phrases (including but not limited to "shape shift to fit," "Internal First Architecture," and "Identification, Reclamation, Activation"), images, and design — is the intellectual property of Joy Roman and Ascribe Healing Hub. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without written permission.
The Healing the Wounds of Trauma curriculum is the intellectual property of the Trauma Healing Institute and the American Bible Society and is used by Ascribe Healing Hub under their facilitation framework.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Ascribe Healing Hub operates. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate jurisdiction.
