We only collect information you choose to give us — and only what we need to serve you well. Here is what that looks like:
Contact and inquiry forms. When you fill out a form on this site — to join the Hub, find a healing group, inquire about a convening session, or book Joy — we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and whatever you write in the message field. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and connect you with the appropriate resource.
Email communications. If you contact us directly by email, we retain that correspondence to respond to you and to serve you over time.
We do not collect payment information on this site. Any payments processed through third-party platforms (such as Eventbrite) are governed by their own privacy policies.
Your information is used only to:
— Respond to your inquiry or request
— Connect you with healing groups, training, or other resources
— Send communications you have specifically requested
— Fulfill bookings or event registrations
— Improve how we serve our community
We will never sell your information. We will never share it with advertisers. We will not use it to contact you with things you did not ask for.
This site is hosted by Hostinger. Our email is handled through Proton Mail, which is end-to-end encrypted and privacy-first. We may also use third-party platforms such as Eventbrite for event registration, and Go High Level for community and communication management.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We choose platforms that take privacy seriously, because the people we serve deserve nothing less.
This site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking. We do not run ads. We do not have analytics tools that follow you around the internet. The site may use basic functional cookies to maintain your session, but nothing that identifies or tracks you beyond your visit.
We retain your information only as long as needed to serve the purpose for which it was collected. If you would like us to delete your information, contact us at joy@joyroman.org and we will do so promptly.
You have the right to know what information we hold about you, to request corrections, and to request deletion. You can exercise any of these rights by contacting us directly. We will respond within 30 days.
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, please contact us and we will remove it immediately.
If we make significant changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
